  Wow , great handbread catfish, some of the best I ever had !! We where camping in Moutidier and decided to eat at Sherry's instead of cooking in the heat , this is a great little country diner and the prices are very reasonable!! We will b back next we are camping in your area, thanks sweet pea

  Simple country food that is good!  But the best part is the regulars that have dinner and go outside and build a fire and sit down to talk. Living the dream.   Pinto beans were the best ever. Leaving with a smile on my face.

  Being honest, the food left a little to be desired. I ordered a ham dinner and it was extremely salty, and it was difficult to find something to order because they were "out" of a ton of options that were on the menu. I figured being the holiday week and the closest restaurant to a popular campground they would be fully stocked and ready for crowds. Despite the lack of options, the waitresses were AMAZING, the owner was on site and made sure my kids were comfortable and happy, the sweet tea was my husband's favorite through our entire southern trip, and the hospitality was out of this world. The waitress and owner invited us to watch fire works with them that they were having later in the evening so we didn't have to bring the kids far from the campground at night, in a place we weren't familiar, or into a big crowd. I gave the restaurant 4 stars solely based on the love we received at this Kentucky restaurant.

  Went here for our one dinner out on our trip to the area and I wasn't thrilled. Service was very haphazard throughout the meal and each dish for our party of 7 was brought out separately so there was quite a gap between first and last.
  
  I thought a chicken strips dinner would be a safe bet, which I ordered with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was lacking seasoning and overly creamy for my taste. The fries were also under seasoned, but OK. The 3 chicken strips were absolutely tiny and while they tasted good, the portion was closer to nuggets than strips.
  
  We waited for a long time with empty, dirty plates in front of us to get a check and someone eventually wandered in and tried to sell us dessert, but when we declined, just left without clearing any dishes or giving us the check. Strange. A woman, whom I presume was Sherry, did come by at one point and brought coloring things and glow-bracelets for the kids, which was a nice touch, but we were already eating then so not the best timing.
  
  Breakfast may be a better experience because one member of our party ordered off the breakfast menu and his pancakes looked pretty solid. I can't recommend this place for dinner though.

  Camping at the nearby State Park, this place was a blessing.  We were rained out.  I ate there twice.  Breakfast sausage, biscuit, egg and gravy with a bottomless cup of joe hit the spot.  The locals on a Sunday Morning were friendly and the wait staff OK.  That night I returned for the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans with light bread.  It is just good home cooking.  Nice if you are in the area and do not want to drive into town for fast food.  Really good value.
